Plainfield Fire-EMS responds as mutual aid to structure fire in Chesterfield.
On April 8, 2023, six members of the Plainfield Fire-EMS Department responded with Tank 2 and Engine 3 as mutual aid to a structure fire in Chesterfield. Other towns that responded included: Chesterfield, Williamsburg, Goshen, Cummington, Worthington, Westhampton, Peru, Windsor, Ashfield, Huntington, Hinsdale, Highland Ambulance, Northampton Control, and the State Fire Marshall.
