Donate to support Smitty recover from house fire.
As you may have heard, Plainfield volunteer firefighters were called for mutual aid to the town of Savoy on Friday, October 20th for a structure fire. Sadly, the fire was at the home of former Plainfield highway employee Alex (Smitty) Smith. Many of you will remember Smitty as a huge supporter of Plainfield and our fire department. Luckily he was uninjured but lost all his belongings in the fire. Any support you can offer would be a huge help.
