Rising Groundwater Study

MEMA Request for Input for UMass Research into Impacts of Rising Groundwater

From the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA)


UMASS Amherst is working with the state to model how climate change will continue to affect groundwater throughout the Commonwealth. As part of this research they have deployed a survey and are looking for any Massachusetts resident who has been impacted by flooding in your home to take the survey.

Changes in Groundwater is a new hazard included in the 2023 ResilientMass Plan.
